Implantology offers solutions for all forms of edentulism (one or all teeth) and is an ideal choice for those who are unhappy with their classic prosthesis.

What is an dental implant

  • Dental implant

Titanium screw is fitted in the jaw during a minor surgical procedure. Percent of the success of this therapy goes from 95 to 100%, making it one of the safest and most durable therapies in dental medicine. After merging the implant and bone, the implant replaces the tooth root.

  • Extension Prosthesis

Made of titanium or zirconium, it serves as a connection between the implant and the prosthetic restoration (bridge or crown).

  • The tooth

Crown or bridge, made of ceramic, zirconium, or other aesthetic material, is permanently positioned on the extension prosthesis.

Dental implants improve the quality of life, help to preserve your natural teeth and prevent the bones decline.

Bridges and dentures on dental implants

Fixed bridge

The development of a fixed bridge is preceded by a detailed analysis of complete situation, as well as the bone condition. If all requirements are met, six implants are installed, and then, a 12-unit bridge is attached to them.

In some cases, for fixed structures, it is possible to use fewer implants, and in other cases it is necessary to perform bone regeneration and to use more implants.

This refers to the production of a fixed dental bridge for full arch supported by 4 implants. This concept is especially suitable for patients who do not have enough bone for implant placement in a classic lateral, posterior jaw.

This makes it possible to rehabilitate the situations of edentulism without performing additional bone regeneration.

All-on-4 allows rapid production of fixed provisional dental bridges, so that the patient can get his fixed teeth on the same day.

Hybrid prosthesis

A fixed rehabilitation is not possible in cases when there's a severe bone loss. In this case, we offer our patients a hybrid prosthesis, which is the basis for the integration of four implants, as well as a superstructure for the stabilization of the prosthesis.

Such prosthesis is very robust, stable and much smaller in comparison to traditional mobile prosthesis.

In many cases of total edentulous mandible, patients are not capable to wear a classic mobile prosthesis. Here we recommend an overdenture: in the front part of the lower jaw, two implants are installed on the bracket which serve for stabilization of the prosthesis and enable its complete functionality.

One of the most modern, computer-assisted methods of implant installation is also at your disposal.

Computer-assisted implantology

With the help of Nobel Clinician® 3D software, we determine the optimal virtual position of the implant in the jaw bone and, according to the results, we order an implant mask (Nobel Guide®), which allows a fast and precise implant installation without having to perform a classical operation and cutting of mucosal. In this way, the classic cut of mucosal is completely unnecessary.

Fixed teeth in one day

In some cases it is possible to install corresponding teeth immediately after the implant fixture. This technique is called Immediate loading of implants - replacement is created in just 48 hours after implant installation. Such teeth are aesthetically and functionally like your natural teeth.

The concept of immediate loading can be applied for replacement of one, several or all teeth in the jaw. So, this technique cannot be applied on every patient and in every situation.

Your teeth are in hands of medical team that assures top quality.

For a more comfortable treatment without any fear

Our medical team will facilitate large dental interventions and surgical interventions using sedation.

Sedation does not mean anaesthesia! It is a conscious sedation controlled by a specialized anaesthesiologist, wherein the patient is aware and able to communicate, but doesn't worry or feel unpleasantness.

Dental procedures may take longer, while enables more complex and larger interventions in one visit. This is a very good choice for major surgery, for both patients and doctors. The process is comfortable and the patient feels quite safe, without fear, in full guard.

Frequently asked questions

  • Fear of the implant fixture and pain.

Patients are often afraid of the installation of the implant and pain after the treatment. Implant fixture, regardless of whether it is one or more implants, is a painless treatment. Same as removal of all teeth, everything is carried out under local anaesthesia. In comparison to the removal of the teeth, an implant fixture is a finer and less traumatic procedure.

To enhance your comfort, you will receive detailed instructions about medications which you should take to feel good and to be able to do your daily duties and activities as normal.

  • Are dental implants good for patients?

Nowadays implants are considered to be the ideal and most successful therapy in many situations. When the implant fixture is a substitute for a tooth, the adjacent natural teeth, serving for the attachment of a bridge, are not damaged. Creation of larger or smaller bridges on implants is a complete solution that works perfectly as your natural teeth. The use of mobile dentures, that are a foreign body in your mouth and decrease the functionality of speech and chewing, is avoided.

In addition, the implants prevent a further decline in bone and assure a biological stability of bone structures.

  • How long do the implants last and how they are to be maintained?

The implants are a permanent anchorage for the prosthetic work. In an ideal situation, they can last a lifetime! They don't have an expiration date; their life depends on the therapy plan, dental care and possible inflammation around implants, as well as around the teeth.

For all implants, as well as for the teeth, regular oral hygiene is very important. Oral hygiene should be performed every day at home, according to the known rules, morning and evening, with regular dental checks. Dental checks are carried out periodically, one or several times a year, it depends on patients' needs.

  • Do I have to be toothless since the implant installation until the end of the process?

After the implant fixture, the patient gets his provisional teeth. Each patient, according to his needs, may proceed with his daily activities during therapy.
