Teeth whitening

Teeth whitening is a cosmetic treatment with which we attempt to restore the teeth’s natural whiteness, and can be exclusively used on vital and treated teeth (excluding dentures and bridges). In Dental Clinic Jelušić, the treatment is achieved with the help of the most modern and most effective dental whitening methods based on carbamide or hydrogen peroxide, with which obtaining desired results is possible in only one visit.
Many multi-week dental whitening treatments are available on the market that include the use of hydrogen peroxide, while endogenous procedures are used for whitening nonvital teeth, i.e. whitening individual teeth. Besides the time-consuming factor, these treatments are also often aggressive for the teeth and the tooth tissue. The procedure used in Dental Clinic Jelušić exceeds all others not only due to the shortest application time, but due to the exceptionally mild effects on the treated areas while obtaining superior results.
It must be mentioned that consuming food or drinks that may discolor the tooth tissue (coffee, tea, juices…) as well as cigarettes is not recommended for at least 48 hours after the whitening treatment.

Aesthetic veneers

One of the most frequently used methods in dental medicine for achieving a beautiful smile is placing veneers on discolored, cracked, gapped or slightly crooked teeth. With minimum preparation, composite or porcelain veneers are placed on the front surface of the tooth. Porcelain veneers are of a higher quality, are stronger, more durable and resemble natural tooth enamel, and are resistant to discolorations from coffee, tea and cigarette smoke.

Gingivoplasty

Gingivoplasty is the surgical shaping of soft tissue surrounding the teeth (gums or gingiva). Even though its initial purpose was for the treatment of periodontitis, gingivoplasty is currently used in aesthetic dental medicine. Malformations and asymmetry of tissues are corrected with this procedure, which can be performed using a classical surgical technique or a laser. Regardless of the reason for why it is conducted, in two to three months, the patient’s gums assume a natural, healthy and harmonic appearance.
