DR. DAMIR JELUŠIĆ

Damir Jelušić graduated from the School of Dental Medicine at the Medical Faculty in Rijeka. His specialization in periodontology was completed at the Clinic of Dental Medicine at the University Hospital Center Zagreb. He is currently a postgraduate student enrolled in the course of dental medicine at the School of Dental Medicine, University of Zagreb.

Extensive experience

Upon completion of university, Dr. Jelušić began acquiring his first work experience in his family’s dental practice located in Kastav. Focused on the field of dental implantology from the very beginning, his professional training continued in a two-year Master of Implantology education program at the Branemark Center in Italy. Likewise, throughout the years, Dr. Jelušić attended virtually all important educational programs for all significant implantation systems, such as Astra Tech, Branemark, 3i, Friatec and Straumann ITI, with which he becomes one of the most recognized implantologists in Croatia.

Systematic specialization

Participating in numerous congresses and seminars worldwide regarding implant prosthetic rehabilitation, Dr. Jelušić further strengthened the position of the dental clinic as a reference center for one of the most well-known implantation systems – Astra Tech.
Dr. Jelušić is the vice president of the implantation section of the Croatian Society of Periodontology (HPD) and is a member of many domestic and international implant associations: European Association of Osseointegration (EAO), International Congress of Oral Implantologist (ICOI), Croatian Society of Dental Implantology (HDDI). He is the author of several specialized and scientific articles from  the field of dental implantology and a lecturer at domestic and foreign congresses.
