HOW TO GET TO US
By automobile
-Travelers coming from Zagreb to Opatija will arrive most promptly by travelling on the Zagreb-Rijeka highway, and then continue travelling from Rijeka 15 kilometers west following signs for Pula.
-Tourists arriving from Slovenia can enter Croatia through the border crossing Pasjak and Rupa and head toward Opatija upon reaching Matulji.
-Travelers coming from Dalmatia (Split, Dubrovnik, Zadar) will travel on the Adriatic Highway to Rijeka and travel from Rijeka 15 kilometers west following signs for Pula, i.e. Opatija.
By bus
-Opatija is connected by a direct bus route with all larger Croatian cities. In the event that a direct route does not exist, travelling to Opatija is simple upon arrival to Rijeka by using regular local bus routes. Likewise, a regular bus route travels from Trieste several times daily.
By train
- Adjacent Rijeka is connected with Zagreb by railroads. Local bus routes or taxi services depart from the Rijeka Train Station to Opatija.
By airplane
- Opatija is equally distanced from three international airports: Zagreb, Ljubljana and Trieste. The distance from these airports to Opatija is cca 150 km (approximately 90 minutes). The Pula and Krk airports are located in the immediate proximity of Opatija, but have a decreased intensity of air traffic due to their smaller size. From these airports to Opatija, the dental clinic organizes exclusive transportation for patients.
