–since February 2011, Dental Clinic Jelušić has begun offering SiroLaser, a dental laser for soft tissue, which provides every dental office with greater safety and quality of work. The laser is used for performing minor surgical procedures and replaces standard surgical incision methods. The procedures for which the laser is most often used are: minor gingivoplasty, to stop bleeding during prosthetic and conservative procedures, removal of soft tissue irregularities and shaping soft tissue, root canal treatment in endodontics, treating infections surrounding teeth and implants, treating tooth surfaces during filling placement, etc. The laser is especially useful for minor aesthetic corrections of the gingiva when fabricating prosthetic restorations.
–a device that consists of an ultrasound attachment used for cleaning hard deposits from teeth and a spray attachment for removing soft deposits . Piezoelectric vibrations are used during the removal of hard deposits (subgingival and supragingival calculus), while the additional antibacterial effect is achieved with special disinfective solutions (chlorhexidine and similar). Cleaning of the soft deposits is carried out with an air-pressurized water spray, which contains bicarbonate microparticles, whereas glycolic microparticles that dissolve after application are used for cleaning below the gums or around implants. This device is ideal for performing regular dental prophylaxis and periodical therapeutic cleanings in the first phase of treating periodontal disease.
