Bone preservation

Classical implant placement

– surgical procedure for placing implants into bone. After three to four months, the implant is revealed and an abutment is fixated into the same. Where permitted, it is possible to simultaneously place an implant and on it a healing abutment, continuing with the prosthetic rehabilitation upon the integration period. This technique is known as the one-stage implant placement technique.

Immediate implantation

– process of tooth extraction, upon which follows implant placement at the location of the extracted tooth. This process requires a special operative technique and is not applicable with all patients.

Computer-aided implant embedment

– one of the most modern methods of implant placement. With the help of 3D software the optimal position of the implant in the jaw bone is determined virtually, upon which an implant template is then fabricated based on the received results, which enables the prompt and precise placement of the implant. In this manner, the CONVENTIONAL INCISIONS THROUGH THE GUMS are completely AVOIDED. ( Flapless technique )

Sinus lift

-a regenerative surgical technique where the bone volume of the lateral segments of the upper jaw is increased, whereby implants are placed six months after the sinus lift.. A “minor” sinus lift is used to enlarge or augment bones of a smaller size, while guided bone regeneration (GBR) is used for minor lack in bone tissue and upon implant placement in visible, aesthetic areas.

Bone preservation after tooth extraction

– a procedure that prevents natural bone loss after tooth extraction. This procedure is executed in cases of subsequent implant placement or elementary prevention of bone recession, as preparation for any future intervention.
